George Hartmann is president of Hartmann Management Associates, a consulting firm with a focus on sales, marketing and business general management.
Mr. Hartmann is the former president of “The $1.5 Billion” North American Commercial Business for Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia. He retired in February of 2002.
He is a current member of the Board of Directors of Paper Converting Machine Corporation in Green Bay, and San Jamar Corporation, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also serves as a director for Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Green Bay, the Salvation Army, the Libertas Society, the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra Executive Committee and as an advisor to several other businesses in the Midwest. He was elected to the St. Norbert College Board of Trustees in 2000 and the Green Bay Packers Board of Directors in July of 2005.
Mr. Hartmann is a past member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the National Paper Trade Association, headquartered in New York. He is a former member of the boards of St. Vincent Hospital advisory group, Boys & Girls Club, Resurrection Parish Council and United Way of Deerfield, Illinois.
Mr. Hartmann and his wife reside in Green Bay. They have three adult children.
